Overview of Tandoori Chicken
Tandoori chicken is one of the most popular and very delicious recipe based on chicken. This is one of very oldest chicken recipes from the Mughlai Period.
It's Ingredients and Preparation method is as following.
Home made Tandoori Chicken
Ingredients
- 4 Chicken pieces ( Approx 1.3 k.g )
- 1 1/2 medium cup Yogurt
- 4 tbs Lemon Juice
- 6 cloves garlic
- 1 tbs Red chilli powder
- 1 tbs Garam Masala
- 1/2 tbs Turmeric powder
- 1 piece ( 1 1/2 inch ) Ginger
- 1/2 tbs Black Pepper Powder
- Salt to Taste
Indian Tandoori Chicken
Method
- First of all we have to take Chicken pieces and stab it every where with a fork. Take it in a tray and apply lemon juice and salt to it. After that leave it for an hour.
- Then we have to create marinade. For this add all remaining things in a bowl and make it a paste.
- Take Chicken pieces back and apply this marinade paste all over on it.
- After that leave the Chicken overnight so that it absorb every thing. And give us delicious flavour.
- Prepare a Tandoor or grill pan or oven to cook it up.
- When it cooked apply lemon juice and serve it with love.
Note: This recipe serves to 4 persons.
